Biomarker unit

OBJECTIVES

  • ADVISE researchers & DESIGN experimental protocols: in genetics and biomarkers

  • MANAGE dataflow and financial aspects: get quotes and establish links between existing local services.
  • PREPARE and ANALYSE collected samples at CB.

  • INTERPRET and DISCUSS the obtained results with researchers together with multimodal integration of other measures (fMRI, EEG, NIRS, TMS).

WORKFLOW

SAMPLE COLLECTION

Blood samples can be taken by our medical assistants on site at the informary

PREPARATION AND ANALYSIS

Samples can be prepared (aliquoted) and analysed in a P2 biosafety laboratory – ground floor of H4

STORAGE

Freezers at -80C and -20C are available for storage of the samples in the basement

EQUIPMENT

Blood sampling

An on-site medical assistant can assist and/or collect blood samples if necessary.

Blood sampling room

A dedicated space for blood sample collection.

Biomarkers room

A room dedicated to sample preparation and analysis in the H4 building.
